Job Purpose

The incumbent will work with the School to ensure the efficient and effective management of programmes in accordance with the University’s strategy, policy and procedures and ensure compliance with the established laws, regulations and policies of the industry’s regulators.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Student Experience

1. Responsible for managing programme administration and programme accreditation processes.

2. Contribute to the development of academic administration processes across the institution.

3. Oversee the monitoring of student progress and provide recommendations to Head of Programme- Undergraduate.

Pastoral care

1. Undertake student consultancy.

2. Appreciate the needs of individual students and their circumstances and assist them in accessing University support.

Academic Administration

1. Take responsibility for quality, audit and other external assessments in own areas of responsibility.

Job Competencies

1. Administer academic policies and advise faculty, staff, and students on policy matters related to the academic programmes.

2. Fulfil department responsibilities for student admissions.

3. Support academic staff to fulfil programme requirements.

4. Produce reports for internal and external use, including accreditation reviews.

5. Develop the semester course schedule, coordinate space requirements and classroom logistics as needed to ensure seamless delivery of instruction.

6. Serve as a liaison with other academic and administrative departments regarding the academic programme, representing the program on cross-functional teams, policy committee, and work groups.

7. Prepare materials and assessments for posting via online web pages.

Perform other administrative and analytical duties supporting the academic mission of the school.
