Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Supervisor to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental programs at project sites. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects and possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, company policies, and client HSE requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and induction training for employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed investigation reports.
- Recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure emergency equipment is maintained and readily available.
- Prepare HSE reports, safety statistics, risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and permit-to-work documentation.
- Monitor housekeeping standards and environmental compliance on site.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
- Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an HSE Supervisor in construction, industrial, oil & gas, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay: RM3,151.72 - RM11,574.38 per month
