Key Responsibilities:

Production Improvement Planning:

• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead and support continuous improvement efforts to enhance production efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize resource use across all stages of the production process.

• Process Optimization: Identify production bottlenecks or inefficiencies and work with the production team to implement process changes, streamline workflows, and reduce production downtime.

• Collaborative Planning: Work with the Production Executive and Factory Manager to plan for process improvements, incorporating data-driven insights to drive initiatives like cycle time reduction, quality improvement, and cost savings.

• Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production processes, warehouse operations, and efficiency. Regularly monitor and report on progress toward improvement goals.

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

• Inventory Oversight: Monitor the levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.

• Stock Movement: Ensure accurate and timely movement of goods within the warehouse, minimizing delays in production and ensuring timely order fulfilment.

• Warehouse Organization: Maintain efficient warehouse layout and organization for optimal space utilization and safe storage practices.

• Stock Audits: Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic audits to ensure accurate inventory records and address discrepancies promptly.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Improvement Reporting: Document and track all production and process improvements, noting the results and impact on key metrics. Provide detailed reports on improvements for management review.

• SOP Updates: Work with the team to update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as production processes evolve to reflect new best practices and improvements.
  

Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, warehouse management, or production management within the food manufacturing industry.

• Experience in production improvement and process optimization.

• Experience with inventory management systems and production management tools is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.

• Proven experience in production improvement planning, Lean Manufacturing, or any process improvement methodologies.

• Solid understanding of warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics coordination.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to report on progress and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially in "Microsoft Excel" and production/warehouse management software.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and documentation.

• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
