About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Office Admin to join our team at Hock Teo Hin Trading Company in Kuching, Sarawak. As our Office Admin, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our day-to-day administrative operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the management team and other departments

  • Organising and maintaining filing systems, both physical and electronic, to ensure accurate record-keeping

  • Handling a variety of clerical duties, including data entry, document preparation, and correspondence

  • Coordinating office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good working condition

  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of various office events and activities

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and providing excellent customer service

  • Supporting the implementation of office policies and procedures to enhance overall productivity and efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within the Administration & Office Support industry

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

  • Proficient in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
