We're Hiring: Senior C++ Developer
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Mode: Onsite
Employment: 6-Month Contract
Experience: 8+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Senior C++ Developer to design, develop, and support high-performance enterprise applications, with a strong focus on modern C++, concurrency, scalability, and production reliability.
What we're looking for:
8+ years of professional experience in C++ software development
Strong proficiency in C++11/14/17/20
Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns
Proven expertise in multi-threading, concurrent programming, and thread synchronization
Strong hands-on experience with STL, Boost libraries, data structures, and algorithms
Experience in memory management, profiling, and performance optimization
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test or CppUnit
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and AI-assisted development tools
Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems, preferably MES or manufacturing systems
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and L3/Hypercare production support
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using modern C++
Build scalable, high-performance, multi-threaded systems
Contribute to front-end integration using Angular and backend API interoperability
Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, profiling, and optimization
Support CI/CD, deployment, release management, and production support activities
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Mentor junior developers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Leverage AI-assisted development tools while validating and refining AI-generated outputs
Nice to Have:
Experience with Angular or modern front-end frameworks
Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
Exposure to Azure or AWS
Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation
Understanding of UX/UI principles
Experience in the Manufacturing or MES domain
Exposure to real-time or embedded systems development
