Job Description
Responsibilities
Conduct routine technical inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on critical equipment, including ACMV, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection.
Assist the facility manager in overseeing a team of technical staff.
Diagnose technical issues, resolve breakdowns swiftly, and minimize operational downtime. Be prepared to be hands-on when needed.
Assist the facility manager in managing Smart Building Systems (BMS) and digital twins that integrate energy management with real-time occupancy and production data.
Lead EHS topics relating to facility services.
Maintain logs of technical equipment performance, manage maintenance records, track spare parts inventory, and generate reports to optimize operational efficiency.
Assist the facility manager on the taking over, testing and commissioning of new systems installed at site. Work together with main contractor & Siemens project team ensuring a proper handover of equipment to Siemens.
Plan the technical maintenance schedule and monitor the work process.
Assist in the planning and managing of the technical budget for the facility.
Supervision on the technical outsourced subcontractors ensuring terms of contracts are followed.
Oversee the entire defects rectification during the defect liability period. Record, track and monitor the defects rectification progress in a systematic manner.
Technical Skills:
Relevant experience in managing industry buildings, manufacturing environment, etc.
Hands on experience in troubleshooting issues relating to technical issues.
Has working experience in smart infrastructure like BMS, smart lightings & meters, solar panels, EV chargers, etc.
Experience in defects management during defects liability period is an added advantage.
Education/Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
5 years of relevant experience in facilities or plant maintenance.
