Logistics Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Port Klang, Selangor

Intelek Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-established multinational manufacturing company seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead its manufacturing logistics and supply chain operations in Port Klang.

This role requires a strong manufacturing logistics background. Candidates without manufacturing industry experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing logistics operations covering production planning, material planning, procurement, warehousing, inventory control, transportation, and customer deliveries.

• Ensure availability of raw materials and production materials to support manufacturing schedules.

• Drive OTIF delivery performance, inventory optimisation, and supply chain efficiency.

• Manage warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, stock control, and material movements.

• Oversee import/export activities, customs compliance, bonded warehouse, SST, and transportation operations.

• Manage supplier performance and procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Drive LEAN Manufacturing, ISO, IATF, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead and develop the logistics team while maintaining strong HSE standards.

• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, and Sales teams to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.

• Minimum 5–6 years of manufacturing logistics or supply chain experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.

• Manufacturing logistics experience is mandatory.

• Strong experience in:

Production & Material Planning

Raw Material Procurement

Warehouse Management

Inventory Control

Import & Export Operations

Transportation & Distribution

Customs Compliance

• Experience with SAP ERP is preferred.

• Knowledge of ISO, IATF, LEAN Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
