MIE Industrial Sdn Bhd is a Puchong-based EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning) solutions provider serving the Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, and Data Center construction sectors. The company delivers multidisciplinary engineering and site execution across complex industrial projects, managing cross-functional teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficient project delivery from design through commissioning.


Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pipe Stress Engineer role based in Puchong. The Pipe Stress Engineer will be responsible for performing thermal stress analysis on piping systems and ensuring compliance with relevant piping codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing datasheets for special pipe supports, issuing piping loading data to other engineering disciplines, and supporting design reviews throughout the engineering and construction phases.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Apply strong working knowledge of piping codes and standards, including ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and PTS (Petronas Technical Standards)
  • Perform Thermal Stress Analysis using Caesar II
  • Prepare datasheets for special pipe supports such as spring hangers, snubbers, sliding plates, and similar components
  • Prepare and issue Piping Loading Data to other disciplines
  • Operate and analyze using PRG FePipe (added advantage)
  • Conduct AIV/FIV analysis (added advantage)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Fresh Graduate in are welcome to apply.
  • Proven experience in piping stress analysis within an EPCC, Oil & Gas, or petrochemical environment
  • Hands-on proficiency with Caesar II
  • Solid understanding of ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and PTS requirements
  • Working knowledge of PRG FePipe and AIV/FIV analysis is an advantage
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary site and office teams
