Middleware Engineer ( Banking Exposure)

Experience - 6 to 9 years

Mandatory Skills

· Strong experience with Unix, RHEL, and Unix/Linux administration.

· Hands-on experience with JBoss, WebLogic, and MQ.

· Strong shell scripting and Unix scripting skills.

· Experience with installation, configuration, deployment, and management of enterprise applications on JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, and Apache Tomcat.

· Experience with middleware administration, especially JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat.

· Strong understanding of Java EE architecture, JVM tuning, and WAR/EAR deployments.

· Experience working on Linux/Unix systems with basic networking knowledge.

Good To Have

· Familiarity with load balancing, reverse proxies such as Apache HTTPD and NGINX, and firewall *************

· Knowledge of Oracle databases.

· Exposure to digital banking environments.

· Key Responsibilities

· Install, configure, deploy, and manage enterprise applications using JBoss Application Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, and Apache Tomcat.

· Support middleware administration activities across JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat platforms.

· Perform SSL configuration, certificate management, and secure connectivity setup where applicable.

· Troubleshoot application server, messaging, and deployment issues in Unix/Linux environments.

· Work with MQ-based integrations and support messaging-related connectivity and stability.

· Tune JVM settings, analyze performance issues, and support WAR/EAR deployments.

· Automate operational tasks using shell scripting and Unix scripting.

· Collaborate with infrastructure teams on load balancers, reverse proxies, networking, and firewall rules.

Pay: RM11,500.00 - RM12,500.00 per month
