The Account Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the clinic, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role also supports management in monitoring the financial performance of the clinic and maintaining efficient financial processes.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial & Accounting
- Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliation.
- Record and verify daily financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for operational expenses.
- Prepare payment vouchers, journal entries, and petty cash reconciliation.
- Process supplier payments and staff reimbursement claims.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
2. Billing & Revenue Management
- Reconcile daily clinic sales with the clinic management system.
- Verify cash, card, online transfer, QR payment, and panel collections.
- Ensure accurate recording of patient billing and pharmacy sales.
- Reconcile insurance and corporate panel claims.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in daily collections.
3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Assist in monthly payroll processing.
- Prepare and submit statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other required submissions.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and statutory regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and relevant government authorities.
4. Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenses against budget.
- Prepare financial analysis and reports for management decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
5. Inventory & Asset Control
- Perform periodic reconciliation between accounting records and inventory reports.
- Monitor clinic asset purchases and maintain fixed asset records.
- Assist in stock valuation and year-end stock take.
6. Administrative Support
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial information.
- Support management in financial-related projects and administrative duties.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting. Experience in healthcare or clinic operations is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, SST, and PCB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
