Role Description The Procurement Officer role at TTMC Sdn Bhd is a full-time, on-site position based in Johor Bahru. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and preparing purchase orders in line with company policies. The Procurement Officer will review and negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate procurement records, analyzing pricing and inventory requirements, coordinating with internal departments to understand demand, and resolving any supply issues. The role also involves supporting cost optimization initiatives, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage Procurement and Purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing and vendor management.
  • Experience handling Purchase Orders and related documentation with attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Solid Analytical Skills for evaluating quotations, pricing, inventory levels, and procurement data.
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic procurement regulations, inventory management concepts, and ERP or procurement systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
