About the Role

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Industry: Construction (Main Contractor)

Project: Data Center

Location: Johor

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project budgets.
• Manage subcontractor tendering, procurement, and contract administration.
• Prepare and evaluate progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and ensure they remain within budget.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and maintain project commercial records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 2–8 years of QS experience in building construction.
• Main contractor experience preferred; Data Center project experience is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of tendering, cost control, contract administration, and final accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CostX, Cubicost, or Glodon is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
