Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Delivery Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of enterprise software solutions. This role serves as the bridge between backend, frontend, infrastructure, DevOps, database, and cloud teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering knowledge with delivery leadership experience. You will coordinate cross-functional technical teams, drive engineering best practices, resolve technical dependencies, and ensure high-quality software delivery within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Drive delivery planning, sprint execution, release management, and production readiness.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

Technical Coordination

• Bridge communication and execution across Backend, Frontend, DevOps, Infrastructure, Database, QA, and Business teams.
• Coordinate technical dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution alignment.
• Resolve delivery blockers and manage technical risks.

Engineering Oversight

• Provide technical leadership for Java and Spring Boot application development.
• Review solution designs and ensure adherence to architecture, coding standards, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and Solution Architects on system design and implementation.

Cloud & DevOps

• Work closely with Cloud Engineers and DevOps teams to support AWS-based application deployments.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and infrastructure provisioning are aligned with delivery objectives.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Database & Integration

• Coordinate database design, optimization, migration, and performance tuning activities.
• Ensure seamless integration between applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with database administrators and integration teams on deployment planning.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary technical delivery liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, and engineering teams.
• Communicate delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to senior management.
• Support estimation, budgeting, resource planning, and project governance.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Software Development.
• At least 3 years in a Technical Lead, Delivery Lead, Engineering Manager, or Software Development Manager role.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale.
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot application development.
• Good understanding of frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with database design, performance tuning, and SQL optimization.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) is an advantage.
