Job Summary
The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, monitoring, and improving PCB manufacturing processes to ensure production targets, product quality, cost efficiency, and delivery schedules are achieved. The role works closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams to optimize manufacturing performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning & Control
- Monitor daily production activities to ensure production schedules are met.
- Coordinate with Production Supervisors to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Analyze production performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize production cycle time and improve equipment efficiency.
Quality Management
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Investigate production defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Work closely with the Quality team to reduce rejection rates and improve product quality.
- Support customer audits and internal quality audits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–3 years of experience in PCB or electronics manufacturing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
