Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial analyses to support business performance and decision-making.
  • Monitor financial performance, project profitability, operating costs, cash flow, and funding requirements, while providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial results.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with the Company's strategic objectives and business plans.
  • Support corporate finance initiatives, including project feasibility studies, investment evaluations, financial restructuring, due diligence exercises, IPO readiness, and other strategic business initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Treasury, financial institutions, auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, and other stakeholders on financing, treasury, compliance, and corporate finance matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory and regulatory requirements, internal policies, and corporate governance practices, while maintaining effective financial controls and risk management measures.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team by setting performance expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive process improvements, finance transformation initiatives, and undertake ad-hoc financial projects or assignments to support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience in the property development, construction, or real estate industry is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, project finance, corporate finance, and business performance analysis. IPO experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act, taxation, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and corporate governance practices.
  • Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and ERP or financial management systems.
  • Demonstrates integrity, attention to detail, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM15,300.00 per month
