Pure Mylk Sdn. Bhd, we are a fast-growing plant-based milk contract manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality, sustainable products for health-conscious consumers. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Utility Technician to join our team and ensure smooth and compliant operation of our utilities and wastewater treatment system.

Key Responsibilities:

• To oversee, operate, maintain and troubleshoot the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) and Recycle Water Treatment Plant (RWTP) to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, plant performance targets, and operational safety.
• Operate and monitor IETS & RWTP systems including pumps, valves, chemical dosing systems, and control panels.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all related equipment to ensure optimum performance and minimal downtime.
• Record, analyze and interpret operational data, meter readings, and lab results.
• Ensure treated effluent meets DOE discharge limits Standard B .
• Collect water samples and conduct on-site tests pH, COD, TSS as per scheduled.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and records for audits and reporting
• Identify and troubleshoot system faults and breakdowns.
• Escalate major issues to superior and support in implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operation reports.
• Support environmental and safety audits, including DOE reporting

Other Utility Duties ( RWTP Raw Water Treatment Plant , WWTP Waste water Treatment Plant , Air Compressor , Cooling tower system and Chiller Plant)

• Monitor , Record parameter and Preventive Maintenance of RWTP , WWTP , Air Compressor , Cooling Tower and Chiller System.
• Update and Maintain the PM records & logs issued by engineering dept form time to time.
• Perform periodic maintenance of electrical systems & other pumps and motors
• Involve in the installation and repair of electrical fixtures , plumbing & sanitary works, and other related project activities as and when required
• Required to provide call-back service if the need arises during emergency.
• Any other duties as instructed by immediate superior or Pure Mylk Management

Requirements:

• Min SPM, SKM or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IETS and RWTP operations. Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and systems.
• Possessed working experiences in manufacturing or food & beverage industry is an advantages
• Hands-on experience in utility system operations and effluent monitoring.
• Strong understanding of environmental compliance and safety practices.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read P&ID, electrical diagrams, and O&M manuals
• Good housekeeping practices and adherence to safety protocols.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends, during emergencies when required.
