Position : Assistant Account Manager

Report to : Sr. Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting and finance process to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with local accounting principles and organization policy.
• Prepare the financial reporting, internal control, treasury, accounting and ensuring that all reports are being submitted in accordance to HOD based on the Group's requirements.
• Responsible for financial and management accounting which includes analytical review of accounts and monitoring the Group's finance and policies.
• Administer financial and operational procedures and processes as part of Internal Control Standard and Requirements, locally and internationally.
• Support the Company in providing financial information needed to establish market price, costing and product profitability.
• Liaison with external and internal auditors to ensure full compliance to accounting standards and internal controls.
• Develop & maintain good professional relationship with auditors, tax agent, bankers and related business associates.
• Handle special/ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time.
• Prepare quarterly and yearly consolidated financial statements for the group according to prevailing accounting standards and Listing Requirements.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial reports to Bursa Malaysia.
• Review monthly accounts, variance analysis and highlight key weaknesses,
• Cashflow management and Tax/SST planning.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agent, solicitors, bankers and company secretary to ensure all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements are complied.
• Assisting the preparation of Annual Report.
• Ensure the employees understand the risks and consequences of its failure and impact to HSE and company reputation and liability.
• To monitor and review the effectiveness the HSE system in place.
• Responsible to establish actions to address risks and opportunities risks control plans.
• Perform any other related duties as Management may require from time to time.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field.

2. Qualification - Chartered Accountant or MIA member.

3. Min 5-7 years of working experience with related field.

4. Managerial and leadership skill, taxation and treasury management.

5. Strong leadership, analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills at all level.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
