Role Description This full-time Senior/Intermediate Structure Engineer role is based in Subang Jaya and offered as a hybrid position, combining office work with some work-from-home flexibility. The engineer will perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and internal quality requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, producing and checking CAD drawings and technical documentation, and developing project-specific engineered solutions for structural connections, reinforcement, and related systems. The role involves collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing technical support from concept through construction, and contributing to continuous improvement of design tools, methodologies, and product offerings. The engineer will also mentor less experienced team members, participate in design reviews, and support innovation and best practices across the engineering function.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with experience applying these disciplines to building and infrastructure projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations, including the ability to perform accurate design checks and verify structural performance against relevant codes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), with the ability to interpret, produce, and review structural drawings and details in common CAD platforms.
• Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering (or equivalent); professional registration or progress toward registration is an advantage.
• Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards, and experience working with engineered construction accessories or structural connection systems is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams.
• Experience in a consulting or construction engineering environment, with exposure to both new-build and refurbishment projects, is preferred.
