Job Responsible: The Senior Process Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ipoh, responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across designated production lines. The role involves analyzing process performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and productivity enhancement, and implementing solutions to improve quality, safety, and operational effectiveness.

The Senior Process Engineer works closely with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams to troubleshoot process-related issues, reduce waste, enhance equipment performance, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include monitoring production KPIs, conducting root cause analysis, developing process improvement plans, reviewing SOPs, supporting new equipment or product implementation, and preparing technical reports. The role also plays a key part in driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs to achieve operational excellence.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering,or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or production improvement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other operational excellence tools is an advantage.
• Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production and quality data.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, production planning, and process control techniques.
• Experience in the steel, wire, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple improvement projects and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ipoh.
