Duties and Responsibilities

• Support daily semiconductor fabrication (Fab) process activities for production and engineering wafers.
• Operate and monitor Fab process and metrology equipment, ensuring compliance with process specifications.
• Perform wafer disposition and support engineering experiments (DOE) and process characterization.
• Operate Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM/XSEM) for process analysis, NPI activities, and customer failure analysis (RMA).
• Generate process characterization and failure analysis reports with findings and recommendations.
• Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC), investigate out-of-control/out-of-specification conditions, and support root cause analysis.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and basic maintenance of process and SEM equipment.
• Update process documentation, participate in daily handover meetings, and support continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Optoelectronics, Photonics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, metrology, SPC, and DOE is an advantage.
• Experience operating SEM/XSEM or other characterization equipment will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or wafer fabrication is preferred.
