Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, accounting operations, and financial reporting. The Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting functions, preparing financial statements, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with Singapore financial regulations and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL and bank reconciliation
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Monitor company expenses, payments and receipts
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare management reports and financial analysis
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
• Monitor company financial performance and cost control
• Provide financial data and reports to management when required

Compliance & Tax

• Prepare and submit GST returns
• Assist in corporate tax filing and financial audit
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and regulations

Payroll & Administrative Finance

• Handle payroll processing and CPF contributions
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices and receipts
• Maintain proper financial filing and records
• Support management on financial planning and budgeting

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 3-4 years accounting experience preferred
• Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST and corporate tax
• Familiar with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling full set of accounts
• Experience in F&B / trading / events / service industry accounting
• Experience dealing with auditors and tax agents
• Cash flow management experience
