The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer / Programmer (BA) with strong Avaloq expertise to support a major organization in the finance sector. In this contract role, you will play a key part in developing, enhancing, and supporting Avaloq-based systems, while contributing to important regulatory and business initiatives within a fast-paced banking environment.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and enhance Avaloq components using Avaloq Script and Oracle SQL / PL-SQL

• Support regulatory initiatives such as CRS, SST, Basel III, ACCIF, and CCRIS, along with business enhancements

• Perform technical impact analysis and ensure solutions align with established architecture and standards

• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 application support, including investigation of data, batch, and interface issues

• Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation validation

• Collaborate with external vendors, including the Avaloq principal and implementation partners, to review solutions and deliverables

• Participate in change management, RFC preparation, and CAB deployment activities

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent

• Avaloq certification

• Minimum 3–8 years of hands-on Avaloq development experience

• Strong hands-on experience in Avaloq Script, Oracle SQL / PL-SQL, and Avaloq data model / batch processing

• Experience supporting Private Banking / Wealth Management systems is an advantage

• Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven banking initiatives, ideally within a regulated banking environment

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure
