Role Description This is a contract, on-site Network Administrator role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The Network Administrator will monitor, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and related systems. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving network issues, managing user access, performing regular backups, and ensuring stable connectivity across client environments. The role involves implementing and enforcing network security policies, supporting system administration tasks, and coordinating with other technical staff to plan upgrades and changes. The Network Administrator will also provide technical support to end users, document configurations and procedures, and contribute to improving overall network performance and reliability.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and System Administration for managing and maintaining networked environments and servers.
• Candidates should possess troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist end users effectively.
• Candidates should possess Network Security skills to configure secure network architectures, manage firewalls, and implement security best practices.
• Candidates should have familiarity with common operating systems (such as Windows and Linux), virtualization technologies, and basic scripting or automation tools.
• Candidates should demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills, strong documentation practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should have relevant certifications (such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar) and prior experience in network administration or IT support; experience in an MSP or enterprise environment is an advantage.
