Job Description

1. To ensure R&D laboratories are in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice.
2. To be aware of and follow the latest references and publications related to pharmaceutical industries.
3. Ensure R&D standard operating procedure, standard test procedure and specification are updated as per latest United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) and British Pharmacopoeia (BP)
4. To Perform analytical testing of trial batches, scale up batches and process validation batches whenever required by R&D Head.
5. To support & communicate with formulation executives during the analytical testing of new generic product development trials.
6. To purchase consumable items, chemicals and reagents for R&D
7. To prepare an analytical method validation protocol and report for assay, dissolution and related substances or impurities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
2. Knowledge of Research & Development (R&D), including product development, testing, and documentation.
3. Understanding of Food Science, Food Technology, or pharmaceutical formulation is an advantage.
4. Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
6. Good communication and teamwork skills.
7. Experience in pharmaceutical or food industry R&D, laboratory work, or product development is an added advantage.
8. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply (optional, if applicable).
