Job Summary

Join our team as a Category Manager to lead brand growth, develop sales strategies, and build strong relationships within the horeca sector, driving business success and category development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive brand growth within the category
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts across the horeca sector to increase sales opportunities
• Identify potential leads and convert them into new accounts to expand the customer base
• Collaborate with the Marketing team by providing insights to enhance marketing campaigns
• Maintain supplier relationships and coordinate with them to develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Train and educate sales teams on category features, benefits, and selling techniques to improve performance
• Monitor industry trends, emerging categories, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role within the hospitality industry
• Deep knowledge of the category including suppliers, brands, customers, and market trends
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated by inspiring and motivating teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
• Detail-oriented approach focused on maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take ownership of tasks
• Preferred fluency in English
