We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to support the Accounts Manager in overseeing the company's accounting operations.

Work Location: Sitiawan, Perak

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Requirements & Skills:

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 - 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation, SST, and statutory compliance.
• Experience with accounting software (SQL) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Manager in managing the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Review and supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, bankers, and government authorities.
• Review accounting entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure efficient workflow and professional development.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
