Job Summary :
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for design, detailing, and documenting electrical and electro-mechanical systems used in Ultra High Purity (UHP) gas purification systems assembled at our facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical assemblies for UHP gas purification systems, collaborating closely with mechanical, software, and control system engineers as well as other cross-functional teams.
- Select and size electrical components to meet the performance and safety requirements of UHP gas purification systems.
- Create and maintain solid models, detailed drawings, electrical schematics, and supporting documentation to facilitate system development and production.
- Perform and document electrical calculations, simulations, and technical analyses to validate design integrity and compliance with standards.
- Engage with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure components and assemblies meet design specifications and quality expectations.
- Participate in design and documentation reviews, contributing to design improvements, process efficiency, and engineering accuracy.
- Lead assigned projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet timelines, cost targets, and quality standards.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, both on-site and remotely, ensuring minimal disruption to production and testing activities.
- Provide direct technical support to manufacturing teams, including troubleshooting and resolving electrical panel or wiring concerns.
- Perform additional engineering duties as assigned, supporting the broader objectives of the engineering department.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data.
- Experience using 3D modeling program (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience using 2D drafting program (Draftsight preferred).
- Experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing (desirable)
- Electrical design of process or capital equipment (desirable)
- Experience with industrial control panels involving both low and high voltage systems.
- Familiarity with electrical design standards and codes such as UL489, SEMI S22, IEC, and NFPA.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems, especially BOMs, routings, and documentation.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)
- Experience with structured development processes such as stage gate methodologies (e.g., Accolade).
- Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization.
- Comfort and ability to work within ambiguity.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
