Job Summary
The Educational Technology Executive reports directly to the Head of IT. He/She is responsible to help improve and update teaching and learning content, provide teaching and learning systems support, and implement learning portal’s functional improvements. This role will involve working closely with professional learning communities to enhance educational technology tools and resources.
Job Duties
The Educational Technology Executive is responsible for performing the following duties:
- Collaborate with APTU, teachers, administrators, and professional learning communities to identify needs and opportunities for improving educational technology systems and content
- Collaborate with APTU and teachers on academic initiatives, participating in projects that involve the development of academic content and resources, including videos, interactive materials, and assessments
- Design, develop, and implement interactive web-based learning activities, simulations, tutorials, and other digital learning objects and content
- Provide training and support to educators on effectively utilising technology in lesson planning and content, curriculum delivery, and student assessment
- Troubleshoot issues with learning management systems, audio-visual equipment, and other educational technologies
- Create documentation and user guides for educational software programs and new technology rollouts
- Work with web developers to improve functionality, usability, and accessibility of educational websites and portals
- Assist in improving the organisation’s implementation of teaching and learning e-resource management
- Stay current on emerging educational technologies and make recommendations for adoption based on needs
- Collect feedback and usage data to evaluate effectiveness of educational technology initiatives

- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director of APTU, Head of IT or other Senior Management Team.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
