Job Overview
The Parking Systems & Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality, reliability, and security of all parking access control systems, electronic payment devices, and related facility infrastructure. This role combines hands-on electronic and mechanical troubleshooting with general facility maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs of electronic parking meters and other parking equipment.
- Install, adjust, remove, troubleshoot, and repair parking meters, control mechanisms, and related devices.
- Clean, overhaul, and carry out major workshop repairs on parking meter components and systems.
- Provide general maintenance services for buildings, facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Maintain parking-related infrastructure, including parking booths, electronic gates, parking payment stations, ticket dispensers, and surface parking lots.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults in parking systems and equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance works are completed in a timely and efficient manner to minimize service disruption.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Comply with all Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Job Requirement
- Certificate, Diploma, or Technical Qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, or parking systems is an advantage.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work outdoors and respond to maintenance requirements when needed.
- Possess a valid driving license (preferred).
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
