1.0 Job Responsibilities

• Conduct final inspections based on customer standards, inspection checklists, and outgoing inspection procedures
• Verify product appearance (solder joints, polarity, missing components, alignment, cleanliness, etc.)
• Conduct functional checks if required (e.g., ICT, FCT, power-on tests)
• Confirm product labeling, part numbers, revision codes, serial numbers, and packaging meet specifications
• Verify that outgoing shipments comply with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and order documentation
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products; initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
• Record inspection results and ensure accurate documentation
• Collaborate with QA Engineers and production teams for issue resolution
• Support customer audits or shipment verifications when required
• Adhere to company guidelines on ESD, safety, and 5S practices

2.0 Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

• High school, vocational school, or higher qualification in electronics or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in final inspection or SMT QA roles
• Experience in electronic manufacturing or PCBA assembly is preferred

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with visual inspection criteria for SMT/PCBA products
• Ability to identify soldering defects and assembly workmanship issues (in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards)
• Knowledge of labeling, barcoding, and revision control practices
• Basic understanding of test reports, customer specifications, and shipment documentation
• Proficient in using basic inspection tools (e.g., magnifiers, microscopes) and computer software for reporting

Soft Skills:

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and disciplined
• Willing to work in shifts and perform overtime when required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting shipment deadlines
