About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Program Coordinator cum Lecturer for our Certificate in Health Science (CHS) programme. The successful candidate will play a dual role in coordinating the programme's academic and administrative operations while delivering quality teaching and learning experiences to students.

This position is ideal for an academic professional who is passionate about healthcare education, curriculum management, student development, and programme quality assurance.

Programme Coordination

• Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Certificate in Health Science programme.
• Ensure programme delivery complies with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in curriculum planning, review, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage timetabling, lecturer allocations, and academic scheduling.
• Monitor student enrolment, progression, retention, and academic performance.
• Prepare programme reports and documentation for audits, accreditation, and management review.
• Liaise with faculty members, students, industry partners, and relevant stakeholders.
• Organise programme-related activities, workshops, seminars, and student engagement initiatives.

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and assessments for CHS subjects.
• Develop teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
• Assess student performance and provide academic advising and mentorship.
• Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Utilize appropriate educational technologies and innovative teaching methods.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Biomedical Science, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related discipline.
• Master's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching and/or programme coordination experience in higher education.
• Experience in academic administration and quality assurance is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and accreditation requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
