Ansell is looking for an Associate Specialist, Mechanical Engineering (Boilerman) to be based in Melaka.
This position is responsible for monitoring equipment parameters and maintaining optimal operating conditions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role includes performing routine inspections of equipment, lubrication activities, cleaning water traps, steam traps and filters, topping up oil levels, and maintaining good housekeeping practices within the boiler house.

What Your Role Will Be
You will:
- Work on either shift or non-shift schedules and be responsible for the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted generation and supply of essential plant utilities, including: High Pressure Hot Water, Compressed Air, Chilled Water, Treated Water
- Be responsible, on a rotational basis, for the weekly start-up and shutdown of utility service equipment.
- Ensure all utility equipment is operated safely and in compliance with local statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate operating records and ensure utility equipment operates under optimum conditions.
- Understand and comply with the Company's: Quality Policy, Occupational Safety & Health Policy, Environmental Policy
- Demonstrate commitment to environmental practices and compliance with environmental requirements.
- Understand the implications and impact of improper job performance.
- Adhere to the Company's GMP requirements, hygiene standards, workplace rules, and general instructions.
- Comply with all company policies, regulations, and management directives.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the work area.
What you will bring?
- Minimum qualification: Boilerman Class II Certificate.
- 1–2 years of experience operating and maintaining:
- Auxiliary machines
- Air compressors
- Chillers
- Dryers
- Able to converse, read, and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work on rotating shifts.
