About the role

Joining the team at TSM Automobile Sdn Bhd as a Human Resources professional, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's HR functions. This is a full-time position based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, where you will play a vital role in supporting the overall strategic objectives of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing effective HR policies, procedures and programs to support the company's long-term goals

2. Managing the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and retention

3. Overseeing employee relations, including addressing grievances and facilitating conflict resolution

4. Administering compensation and benefits packages, including payroll and leave management

5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment and labour laws and regulations

6. Providing training and development opportunities to build the capabilities of the workforce

7. Collaborating with leaders across the business to understand their HR needs and deliver tailored solutions

8. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and reporting

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field

2. 2+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the automotive industry

3. Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR best practices

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels

5. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical, business-aligned HR solutions

6. Proficient in data analysis and HR information systems

7. Proactive, adaptable and committed to continuous learning and development
