About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join our team at Inovatif Motor Sdn Bhd in Sandakan, Sabah. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail business, ensuring the smooth running of our department and the delivery of exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of retail associates, ensuring they are productive, motivated and providing the best possible service to our customers

2. Overseeing the implementation of store policies, procedures and standards to maintain a safe, organised and efficient work environment

3. Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective strategies to drive success

4. Providing hands-on support to the team, actively participating in tasks such as inventory management, customer assistance and visual merchandising

5. Liaising with store management to communicate feedback, escalate issues and collaborate on initiatives to enhance the customer experience

6. Championing a positive, team-oriented culture and fostering a sense of accountability among the retail associates

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 year experience in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably within the Retail & Consumer Products industry

2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both customers and colleagues

4. Proficient in inventory management, stock control and data analysis to drive informed decision-making

5. Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment

6. Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges and implement practical solutions
