Job Title: IT Technician (Manufacturing Support) 

Job Summary 

We are seeking an IT Technician to support manufacturing operations in TNP (Test & New Product), FT (Final Test), and Assembly areas. The role involves providing technical support for production systems, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining smooth IT operations in a 24x7 manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide IT support for manufacturing areas (TNP, FT, Assembly)  

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network issues  

  • Support tester PCs, engineering workstations, and production systems  

  • Respond to IT incidents and ensure resolution within SLA  

  • Escalate complex issues to relevant IT teams when required  

  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on IT equipment  

  • Support system installation, upgrades, and configuration  

  • Maintain accurate documentation in ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow)  

Shift Reporting & Handover 

  • Perform proper shift reporting at the end of each shift  

  • Document all incidents, ongoing issues, and system status clearly  

  • Ensure complete shift handover (passover) to next shift team  

  • Communicate critical issues, risks, and pending actions during handover  

  • Ensure continuity of support for production without information loss  

Requirements 

  • 1–3 years experience in IT support or related field  

  • Experience in manufacturing environment is an advantage  

  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS (Linux is a plus)  

  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN, IP, troubleshooting)  

  • Able to work in shift (24x7 support), including weekends/holidays if required  

  • Strong problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure  

  • Good communication and teamwork skills  

Preferred 

  • Experience supporting semiconductor or production environment  

  • Familiar with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools  

  • Hands-on troubleshooting of PCs, printers, and industrial systems
