You will be focusing on the following:

• Technical Leadership: Lead day-to-day agile workflows and drive the execution of high-performing engineering initiatives within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Architecture & Development: Partner closely with engineering pods to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-hosted infrastructures and data pipelines.
• Cross-Functional Bridge: Align with product and commercial teams to translate strategic goals into concrete technical specifications and production-ready milestones.
• Innovate & Ship: Collaborate with data researchers and software specialists to launch sophisticated, production-grade applications that drive business expansion.
• Team Scaling & Culture: Mentor, upskill, and actively build out a high-caliber engineering department focused on technical excellence.
• Operational Reporting: Monitor and deliver regular insights to senior leadership regarding system stability, development timelines, and infrastructure performance.

Skills requirements

• Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of proven success building and scaling complex, production-level software solutions.
• People Management, minimum 3 years of direct experience leading, mentoring, and managing engineering teams.
• Deep fundamental knowledge of advanced machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong proficiency in architecting and deploying solutions on public cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure or similar environments.
• Modern Tooling & MLOps: Mastery of software delivery practices, including CI/CD automation, GitHub version control, rigorous testing frameworks, and robust data pipeline construction.
