SALES ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities

·      Develop and offer presentations using appropriate materials to target customers, consultants and contractors

·      Establish and maintain contacts with new customers

·      Provide sales and technical support to customers and end-users

·      Prepare and ensure quotations are offered to customers in a timely manner

·      Follow-up on quotations and customer enquiries

·      Develop and support marketing initiatives

·      Develop a sales plan and provide monthly updates on sales forecast and orders

·      Meet regularly with other staff to develop strategies to grow sales and increase margins

·      Maintain up-to-date computer database of customers, opportunities and projects

·      Performs any other duties as required by the Sales Manager

Requirements

·      Diploma / Degree in Engineering / Construction discipline

·      3-5 years of sales background on engineering equipment / systems

·      Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems, competitors and customers

·      Know the workings of the fire industry in Singapore

·      Outgoing personality

·      Selling and negotiating skills

·      Computer literacy

·      Good written and verbal communication skills

·      Self-presentation

·      Interpersonal ability

·      Independent and self-motivated
