Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee all aspects of the company's accounting functions including full sets of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets to ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings by recording journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciling balance sheets
• Generate management accounts and financial reports to support management review and strategic planning
• Monitor and analyze project costs, accruals, provisions, and allocate costs accurately to projects and cost centers
• Review supplier invoices, subcontractor claims, and project-related expenditures to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries to facilitate audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and working papers for internal and external audit processes
• Assist in GST reporting, corporate tax compliance, and statutory submissions to meet regulatory requirements
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls to maintain financial integrity
• Execute ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management to support business needs

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA considered advantageous
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience preferably within the Construction or Engineering industry
• Knowledge of GST, corporate tax, and statutory reporting requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to financial data and reporting
• Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
• Reliable attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
• Strong sense of accountability and professional integrity
