**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Commis Cook specialising in curry puff fillings to join our food manufacturing team. This role involves preparing authentic, high-quality fillings whilst maintaining strict food safety standards and production efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Description**
• Prepare and cook various curry puff fillings including potato, chicken, sardine, and other traditional varieties according to standardised recipes and quality specifications
• Ensure consistent taste, texture, and quality of all fillings whilst meeting daily production targets and deadlines
• Maintain excellent hygiene practices and food safety standards in compliance with SFA regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production workflows and support inventory management of ingredients and supplies
**Job Requirements**
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food preparation, preferably in commercial kitchen or food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of curry puff filling preparation techniques and traditional recipes
• Food hygiene certification (e.g., WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1) or willingness to obtain upon employment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to varying production schedules including weekends when required
• Good team player with strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
