About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer who can independently take charge of structural design projects from concept to completion. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a self-driven engineer who delivers quality work on schedule without close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently carry out structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structures for building and infrastructure projects
• Prepare complete design calculations, structural drawings, and detailing to construction standard
• Produce and review structural drafting work with a high level of accuracy and presentation quality
• Coordinate with architects, C&S consultants, and project teams remotely via calls and shared platforms
• Manage your own workload, track project progress, and consistently meet agreed deadlines
• Provide regular and proactive progress updates to the team
• Mentor and check the work of junior engineers and drafters where required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural design (RC and steel)
• Proven ability to design independently, able to own a project end-to-end with minimal guidance
• Strong drafting skills; proficient in AutoCAD (proficiency in analysis/design software such as Esteem, Orion, Prokon, STAAD.Pro, Tekla, or equivalent is an added advantage)
• Sound knowledge of relevant design codes and standards
• Excellent time management and self-discipline, must be able to commit to agreed timelines and provide consistent progress reporting
• Stable internet connection and a suitable home working setup
• Good written and verbal communication skills
