Company Description Tunku Putra-HELP School, founded in partnership with Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (CMSB), HELP Education Group, and Ibraco Berhad, builds on the legacy of Tunku Putra School, the first international school in Sarawak established in 1996. Over the past 25 years, the school community has grown to more than 600 students representing around 20 nationalities. Located in the NorthBank, Tabuan Jaya, the residential heart of Kuching, the purpose-built campus can accommodate up to 1,500 students. Role Description The SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) is a full-time, on-site role based at Tunku Putra-HELP School in Kuching. The SENCO is responsible for coordinating and overseeing provision for learners with special educational needs, including identifying learning needs, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitoring progress. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with teachers to differentiate instruction, advising on appropriate interventions, and supporting classroom management strategies that promote inclusion. The SENCO will work closely with families, external specialists, and school leadership to ensure clear communication, effective support plans, and compliance with relevant policies and best practices. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, contributing to staff training on inclusive practices, and supporting whole-school initiatives to foster a supportive, student-centered environment.
