Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage new product development (NPI) and engineering projects from initiation to mass production.
• Work closely with customers, production, tooling, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Coordinate tooling fabrication, product trials, validation, and engineering changes.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure project feasibility.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize delays.
• Monitor project costs and prepare project status reports for management and customers.
• Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and customers regarding project-related activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in project engineering, preferably in a plastic injection moulding or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in managing new product introduction (NPI), engineering projects, or tooling projects will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes, manufacturing operations, and production planning.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
• Familiarity with project management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with ERP systems and CAD software will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
