About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant HR & Admin Manager to join our team at Kara Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd. This full-time position, based in Puchong, Selangor, will play a key role in supporting the HR and administrative functions of our growing organisation, particularly in Compensation & Benefits (C&B).

What you'll be doing

• Develop, review, and implement job grading structures, salary scales, and compensation policies, HR policies in alignment with company objectives and market practices.

• Handle and process payroll to ensure accuracy, compliance with government regulations, and timely salary disbursement.

• Assist in annual performance review exercises and preparation of salary increment, bonus, and promotion proposals.

• Support organizational development initiatives including change management.

• Assist in the preparation of compensation & benefit reports and cost analysis. Advanced proficiency in HR analytics.

• Support internal and external audits to ensure adherence to government regulations and internal governance processes.

• Respond to employee queries relating to salary, benefits, and policy interpretation.

• Collaborate and assist in all company events & HR initiatives / projects.

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of working experiences in payroll and C&B, preferably within fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and HRIS.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience in FMCG industry will be an added advantage.
