Full Time QA Engineer (Assembly) Jobs, in Venture Corporation Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

We’re looking to add an Engineer, QA in Bayan Lepas plant.

As an Engineer, QA (Assembly), You will:

1. Customer Quality Issue

a) Coordinate with cross functional team to resolve in-process induced defects and customer issues.  Pull customer complaints information to the factory for containment action plan, corrective & preventive plan.  Assurance of the product quality and perform analytical approach as risk assessment & preventive measure.

b) On time respond to customer on the NCR. 

2. Report writing

a) Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly customer report 

3. Meetings

a) Participate in daily production meeting to resolve outstanding quality issue with cross functional team.

b) Participate in the new product introduction meeting as a team member representing quality department. 

4. Final Product Quality Audit & In-Process Quality Control

a) Setting up quality system for final product quality audit and in-process quality control (IPQC)

b) Liaise with QA supervisor in the implementation of IPQC and final quality audit procedure.

c) Follow up on QCAR, concerning process deviation and final quality audit failures.  This include the containment plan and the permanent corrective action plan.

d) Monitor & ensure the Quality KPI meeting target.

e) Participate and carried out project improvement as part of quality improvement. 

5. New Product Introduction

a) Representing quality department in new product introduction team in setting up quality plan, i.t. sampling plan, test & inspection criteria.

b) Compilation of First Article Report.

6. Audit & ESD

a) Participate in ISO9001, AS9001, TL9000 & UL/TUV audit and assuring the process

    setup in compilation to the audit bodies requirement.

b) Certified auditor of TR53 and internal ESD audit

c) Setting up ESD control & expectation.  Assurance of ESD compliance

d) Liaise with cross function team on the ESD line setup, verification and qualification.

7. Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health Management System Requirement

a) Participate in company environmental, safety and health management program. 

What skills and experiences are we looking:

• Degree in Engineering or Science, preferably with working experiences in similar industry; or Degree in any discipline with minimum 2 years working experience in QA field;

• Possess knowledge in 8D RCCA, FMEA, audit and quality tools such as Fishbone analysis, 5 Why Analysis, Poka Yoke and the use of Statistical Tools (e.g. SPC, MSA) are advantageous.

• Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and report summary.

• Knowledge of ESD requirement is strongly preferred.

• A team player and able to interact effectively with all levels within the company.
