Technical Specialist (MNC)

Our client is a project logistic MNC to support the Regional Heavy Lift/Technical Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Operations and Project teams, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of heavy lift, oversized, and high-value cargo projects in accordance with company's safety standards, operational procedures, and client requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site attendance and supervise on-site operations, including coordinating and participating in site coordination and inspection meetings as required
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams across business development, project management, engineering, planning, and project controls, particularly for heavy lift and specialized transport projects.
• Ensure all contracted work is executed in compliance with company's Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), technical, and operational standards.
• Develop and implement process-driven procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize heavy lift operations, resource deployment, scheduling, and project execution.
• Prepare lifting plans, transportation plans, stowage plans, cargo securing plans, and other project-specific CAD drawings to support safe and efficient execution.
• Prepare, review, and validate engineering calculations, method statements, and other technical documentation.
• Conduct route surveys, site inspections, and feasibility assessments to evaluate project requirements and execution strategies.
• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
• Travel overseas as required to support project execution and business operations

Requirements

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• NEBOSH and / or similar certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Engineer or similar role with project management and operational experience in international logistics industry preferred.
• Familiar and experienced in 2D CAD applications, 3D Modelling and structural engineering analysis
