Summary:
Senior Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications for securities, pre/post trade, and operations. Translates business requirements into technical solutions, authors technical specifications, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for securities and capital markets.
- Map business requirements to system/technical specifications.
- Author product design and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with technical leads, offshore developers, testers, and production support teams.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams and support project managers in identifying and mitigating risks.
- Perform development estimations, impact analysis, and various testing (unit, integration, system).
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and adhere to project methodology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science or IT.
- 10+ years of software development experience, with a proven track record in distributed delivery teams.
- Experience in a banking environment, preferably Private Banking or Wealth Management.
- Knowledge of Credit and Risk, Capital Markets, Securities, Private Banking, and Wealth Management.
- Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, SQL, GIT, GitLab, Splunk, DBeaver, and Eclipse.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with APIs and Digital Banking is a plus.
