The Kasturi is a five-star low-density luxury resort in Cherating, Pahang. Situated on the northern tip of Chendor Beach with 800 metres of seafront, the 15-acre coastal forest site is designed to attract guests seeking a premium hospitality experience that connects to nature and environment.

The resort is laid out along the beach with most being individual chalets, each with a private pool and deck. A principal objective was to afford unimpeded sea and forest views to every chalet. The solution is a linear development along the beach with the main facilities at the northern end of the site.

Job Description:

• Prepare ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning, according to standard recipes.
• Assist in cooking and plating dishes under the guidance of the Chef De Partie or Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to the resort's quality and presentation standards.
• Support the kitchen team during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet operations.
• Ensure food is served in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations before, during, and after service.
• Ensure kitchen utensils, equipment, and appliances are cleaned and stored properly.
• Follow kitchen SOPs and standard recipes.
• Assist in setting up and closing down kitchen stations.

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant kitchen is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with culinary training are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
