Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Singapore. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), assist in cost planning and budgeting, and support tender preparation and evaluation. The role includes monitoring project costs, maintaining cost control throughout the project lifecycle, and preparing regular cost and progress reports for project stakeholders. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to evaluate variations, manage contractual claims, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, participating in site meetings, and contributing to efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Planning and Cost Management to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates for engineering projects.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Reporting to monitor expenditures and prepare clear, timely financial reports.
• Candidates should possess experience with BOQ preparation and measurement, ensuring accurate quantities and alignment with project specifications.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and tender evaluation in the building services or M&E sectors.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel, costing tools, and quantity surveying or estimation software.
• Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to large and complex project environments.
