Social Media & Content Intern

KL Beauty Week Sdn Bhd is looking for a creative, digitally savvy Social Media & Content Intern to join our team.

As the company behind KL International Beauty Week (KLIBW), one of Malaysia’s largest beauty and lifestyle events, and The Highlighter MY, a leading beauty and lifestyle media platform, we create content and digital campaigns that connect audiences with beauty, fashion, wellness and lifestyle brands.

About the Role

You will support social media, branded content and digital marketing across KLIBW and The Highlighter MY, including:

• Promotional content for KL International Beauty Week
• Branded content and sponsored campaigns
• Meta and TikTok advertising content
• Online marketing and audience-growth campaigns
• Event launches, media previews and brand activations
• Beauty, fashion, wellness and lifestyle content
• Exhibitor, sponsor and partner promotions

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create promotional content to build awareness, engagement and visitor registrations for KLIBW
• Develop content promoting KLIBW exhibitors, sponsors, competitions, workshops, activities and event highlights
• Assist with digital marketing campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads and other platforms
• Create campaign concepts, captions, graphics, Reels, TikToks, Stories and short-form videos
• Produce content for Meta and TikTok advertising campaigns
• Support live social media coverage during KLIBW and other events
• Upload, schedule and manage content across social media platforms
• Work closely with the editorial, design, marketing, events and sales teams

What We’re Looking For

• A student or recent graduate in Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field
• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, beauty, fashion, wellness and lifestyle
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads and Meta platforms
• Able to create content using Canva, CapCut or similar tools
• Creative, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
