The Kasturi is a five-star low-density luxury resort in Cherating, Pahang. Situated on the northern tip of Chendor Beach with 800 metres of seafront, the 15-acre coastal forest site is designed to attract guests seeking a premium hospitality experience that connects to nature and environment.
The resort is laid out along the beach with most being individual chalets, each with a private pool and deck. A principal objective was to afford unimpeded sea and forest views to every chalet. The solution is a linear development along the beach with the main facilities at the northern end of the site.
Job Description:
- Manage the overall operations of the Front Office Department.
- Develop and implement Front Office policies and SOPs.
- Ensure efficient coordination between Front Office and other departments.
- Handle guest complaints, service recovery, and operational issues promptly and professionally.
- Follow up on guest feedback to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure guests receive prompt assistance throughout their stay.
- Supervise and support department supervisors and operational staff during the assigned shift.
- Conduct shift briefings when required and communicate important operational updates.
- Ensure staff maintain proper grooming, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Provide guidance and immediate support to staff in resolving operational issues.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
- Monitor service quality and ensure corrective actions are implemented where necessary.
Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in hotel or resort operations.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage emergencies effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and IDB Systems (PMS).
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
